Hi there,
So the equip system and the level-up screen are done. Every level you get 5 status points and one skill point (for future use).
The points distribution screen will trigger when you level up, and can be triggered manually by clicking the [+] sign next to your class. This sign will appear if you have unspent status points.
This whole system took longer to make than I wanted it to. I'll do my best to speed up the development process because this isn't acceptable.
I'm now working on the shops, I'll post an update as soon as I have something to show!
Sincerely Yours,
JV
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but here goes. I have checked your game out in the past and it worked fine for me. Now that I'm trying again and supposedly starting a new journey, after I pick the slime girl it gives me the option to start searching. After I do,it tells me I'm not supposed to be here and changes nothing. I tried multiple times and nothing is changing. Pretty disappointing honestly. I remember it having a lot of potential so I wanted to check it out again. If this is of any significance, I'm supposedly in the City of Fellen at the start. Please check this out. Thanks in advance :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for the inconvenience! I have tried to reproduce the problem, but I can't seem to trigger it. What browser are you using, if you don't mind me asking?
DeleteAlso, thank you for trying out the game again!
DeleteI can't seem to edit replies for some reason, so maybe I should take a bit more time to review what I'm saying. I just wanted to add that I hope you'll try out the game again as soon as I fix this issue. I wouldn't be able to find all these bugs by myself.
Deletei had this issue too,i just closed the browser and started again it worked fine
DeleteI see, strange.. I can't reproduce it, I hope it's some sort of glitch. I'll post an update tonight with my progress! Hoping to finish everything tonight and a little extra.
DeleteThis happened to me once too. I assumed back then it came from my internet (like if some files weren't loaded when they should be (I may be totally wrong about this through))
DeleteIIRC, that bug disapeared after a reload (or going to the site later - with a clean cache)
Anyway, I'm waiting for your progress report ! And happy gamemaking !
I'm hoping it was indeed a cache problem. I'll try to think of a long term solution, because I don't want to turn off caching completely.
DeleteHey, original anon here, the problem seems to be fixed. The interesting thing about it is that I checked with Chrome, Firefox and even Internet Explorer and the problem was on all 3 browsers. Could have just been a coincidence though since it works now.
